Carmen Bruni is a member of the 2019-2020 articling student class at Cassels Brock. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2018.
Carmen received her J.D. from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. At law school, Carmen was actively involved in the Windsor Law community where she was a case worker at Community Legal Aid and a research volunteer for the Canadian Mental Health Association in cooperation with Pro Bono Students Canada. Carmen also held executive positions on the Windsor Law Social Committee and the Law Games team. She was also an enthusiastic member of the Windsor Law volleyball intramural team. In her final year at Windsor Law, Carmen spent a semester abroad at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III where she focused on international business law courses.
Carmen graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in International Business from Wilfrid Laurier University which brought her to China, Peru and Honduras. During her time at Laurier she acted as a Co-President to the Laurier chapter of the social organization Students Offering Support promoting access to education and was a Teaching Assistant for the business introductory course.
In her spare time Carmen enjoys travelling, yoga, and listening to podcasts.
