Thomas Neville is a member of the 2019 summer student class at Cassels Brock.
Thomas is a J.D. candidate at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law, where he is an active member of the community. He is a contributor to the school newspaper, a volunteer with Student Legal Assistance, and volunteered with the Tax Court Assistance Program this year. Thomas competed in the Blackstone debates and negotiation club competitions. Thomas had a summer internship with a Calgary Power Company in during his first law school summer where he gained regulatory and corporate experience.
Prior to returning to secondary education, Thomas was an entrepreneur in the construction industry in Alberta. He worked on his economics degree at the University of Calgary, where he achieved Dean’s List status, and was granted early admittance to the Faculty of Law with three years of his undergraduate studies completed. Thomas also used his construction skills to complete projects for persons with disabilities with the Tetra Society of North America.
In his spare time Thomas like to be in the mountains, hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. His family just got a Bernese Mountain dog named Mocha that will join him this summer.
