Sam Chapman is an associate with the firm’s Business Law Group. Sam’s primary focus is on corporate and securities law matters, including equity and debt financings, initial public offerings, continuous disclosure obligations, regulatory compliance and mergers and acquisitions.
Sam completed the joint J.D./M.B.A. at the University of Victoria where he received the University of Victoria MBA Entrance Scholarship and Fasken Martineau DuMoulin Entrance Scholarship. At the University of Victoria, Sam served as President of both the Business Law Association and Sports and Entertainment Law Club. He also served on the executive of the University of Victoria Law Students’ Society and assisted in founding the University of Victoria Access Pro Bono Student Clinic. Sam earned a M.A. in History from the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. in History from the University of British Columbia.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Sam summered and articled at the Vancouver office of a global law firm.
