Robert Hamilton is an associate in our Business Law Group. His practice focuses on general corporate and commercial law, with experience in securities, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.
Before joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Robert articled with another national law firm. During this time, Robert gained valuable experience assisting on a wide range of corporate transactions involving both public and private companies and contributed to papers on oil & gas and employment law.
Robert completed his J.D. at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2017. During law school, Robert was a Student Clinician at the UBC Law Students’ Legal Aid Program. He also interned as a Summer Law Student with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service at the Alberta Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General.
Before attending law school, Robert obtained an Honours degree in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University, where he graduated with distinction.
