Lauren is a member of the 2019 summer student class at Cassels Brock.
Lauren is a J.D. candidate at Western Law, where she is an active member of the student community. She has volunteered as an Associate Caseworker for Western Law’s Community Legal Services Clinic and as an orientation leader for incoming J.D. students. Last summer, she worked as a legal intern for the Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia. She majored in Political Science and minored in English. During her time at UBC, she volunteered as a Clinic Assistant with Access Pro Bono Society of BC. She also participated in UBC’s Go Global program, where she conducted field research on African security issues in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys travelling, long-distance running, and yoga. Prior to law school, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training and worked as a yoga instructor.
