Jonathan Shepherd is an associate in the Advocacy Group. He maintains a broad civil and commercial litigation practice.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Jonathan was a summer student in 2017 and articled at the firm from 2018 to 2019.
Jonathan obtained his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. Prior to law school, he obtained a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Victoria. At law school, Jonathan was actively involved in the Dalhousie community. He was a member of the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service where he advocated for students regarding academic and code of conduct hearings.
In his spare time, Jonathan is an avid skier, climber, cyclist, runner, and swimmer. Jonathan has backcountry skied throughout British Columbia and the Swiss Alps, climbed world class sport routes in North America, and cycled across Canada.
