Hardeep Dhaliwal is a member of the 2019 summer student class at Cassels Brock.
Hardeep is a J.D. candidate at Western University, Faculty of Law. She is an active member of the student community. Hardeep volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada as a Peer Mediator. She conducted workshops on peer mediation and workplace conflict resolution for youth groups and employees. Hardeep has also participated in various moot competitions. She placed top-four at the 2018 First Year Advocacy Competition, received the Best Respondent Factum Award at the 2018 Lerners Cup, and was selected to represent Western at the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
Hardeep completed both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Political Science at Western University. She has been actively engaged in various initiatives to increase the representation of women in politics, including organizing mentorship opportunities and trips to Parliament Hill. Hardeep was a teaching assistant for a first-year course on political science during her graduate studies. Prior to joining Cassels, Hardeep worked in a full service firm’s commercial litigation department.
In her spare time, Hardeep enjoys planning themed-parties, biking and (attempting) to brew kombucha tea.
