Elissa Chamberlain is a member of the 2019 summer student class at Cassels Brock.
Elissa is a J.D. candidate at Dalhousie University. She is an active member of the student community as a volunteer with Dalhousie Wills Projects, Dalhousie Student Advocacy Services, and the Student Accessibility Center. She has also worked as a Legal Assistant at the Halifax Refugee Clinic where she helped refugees flee from persecution.
As a native French speaker, Elissa is proud to be fully bilingual and volunteers for French as a second language classes.
Elissa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mobile in Alabama where she made the Dean’s Honour Roll. At university, Elissa was a varsity soccer player and was a dynamic member of campus life. She was a Student Life Leader, managed the Intramurals Sports Committee and volunteered for Operation Christmas Child.
In her spare time, Elissa enjoys playing a variety of sports such as tennis, skiing, and soccer. She also loves to explore new hiking trails and is an avid traveler. She aims to visit all Seven Wonders of the World.
