Ashley Jung is a member of the 2019 summer student class at Cassels Brock.
Ashley is a J.D. candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School. Ashley is an active member of her student community as an advocate for vulnerable clients at Fair Change Community Services. She also served on the executive committees of the Osgoode Tax Law Association and the Osgoode Business Law Society, and is a vocal director in Osgoode’s annual variety show, Mock Trial. Ashley received the Fasken Prize in Torts in her first year. In the summer after her first year she volunteered at Legal Aid of Cambodia in Phnom Penh.
Ashley earned her International Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University where she was on the Dean’s List. During her studies she spent one semester in Mexico and another semester in Peru studying Spanish and business. While at Schulich, Ashley was an athlete on the York Equestrian Team and the treasurer of the team.
During her spare time Ashley enjoys travelling, particularly to Latin American countries. Before law school, Ashley spent a month backpacking from Argentina to the north of Brazil.
Ashley is fluent in Spanish.
