Ardy Mohajer is a member of the Real Estate & Development Group. His practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate law.
Ardy represents private, public, and government agencies, in the acquisition and disposition of a wide range of commercial assets including retail centres, industrial and office buildings, multi-residential complexes, and hotels. He routinely acts on both lender and borrower side real estate financing transactions, including those relating to acquisition, term, mezzanine and construction loan facilities. Ardy also has extensive experience in landlord and tenant side leasing for office, industrial, retail, and restaurant premises. Furthermore, he has advised issuers and underwriters on capital market offerings, and private equity funds, developers, and real estate investment companies on joint venture and co-ownership structuring.
Ardy graduated in 2012 with a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Previously, he earned an M.Sc. from the Department of Bioresource Engineering at McGill University. His graduate school research was in the field of clean technology for waste management processes and led to the publication of two scientific papers as first-author in peer-reviewed journals.
Ardy enjoys being active in the community including volunteering with Law in Action Within Schools, the Hospital for Sick Children, and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
