Anna Tombs is a lawyer in the Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on complex securities, corporate, and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on shareholder disputes, governance issues, class action defence and regulatory investigations.
Anna has considerable experience representing public and private corporations, directors and officers, and shareholders in the financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, energy and construction industries.
Anna has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, the Ontario Securities Commission, and other commissions and tribunals. Anna is an active member of the Advocates’ Society, is involved in the Defense Research Institute as a member of the Young Lawyers Steering Committee and volunteers as Duty Counsel for Pro Bono Law Ontario. She has strong oral and written French language skills.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Anna articled and was an associate with another national firm.
