Vanessa Quattrociocchi

Vanessa Quattrociocchi is an associate in the Securities Group. She represents both issuers and investment dealers in a range of transactions including public offerings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions. She also has experience advising issuers with respect to general corporate and securities law matters, including corporate governance practices, continuous disclosure obligations, and other regulatory compliance issues.

Vanessa’s experience includes:

• Representing New Gold Inc. in its $300 million private offering of senior notes
• Acting for Allana Potash in its $20 million public offering
• Representing a syndicate of underwriters led by Cormark Securities Inc. and including Canaccord Genuity Corp., Haywood Securities Inc. and National Bank Financial Inc. in Columbus Gold’s bought deal financing for gross proceeds of $5.5 million

Vanessa obtained her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, Vanessa volunteered at Law Help Ontario assisting self-represented litigants navigate the Superior Court system by providing legal information, court forms and resources. She was also an upper year advisor for the Osgoode Mentor Program, an initiative that focuses on offering academic and professional advice to first year law students.

Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Vanessa was a summer and articling student at the firm.
