ProfileDavid SwainDavid is an associate practising in the Securities Group. He has experience representing investment dealers, investment fund companies, venture capital groups, capital pool companies and other public and private issuers in a variety of contexts, including public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, and other general corporate governance and compliance matters. David joined Cassels Brock after articling with a large Canadian firm and summering at Tarion Warranty Corporation. While in law school, David was a member of the University of Windsor Corporate Commercial Securities Law Moot team. David played varsity soccer while earning his Honours Bachelor of Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University, and is also an avid traveler who has lived and worked on three continents.
