Stephen Hutchison_unpublishStephen graduated with honours from the J.D. program at the University of Toronto. While at law school, he volunteered at a legal aid clinic and served on the editorial staff of a legal journal. He also contributed to the student newspaper and helped create an online legal database. Stephen received the Laskin Prize in Constitutional Law, the Warren Lefton Prize in Estate Planning Law, the Jeffrey W. Egner Prize in Labour Law and the J.S.D. Tory Fellowship for student writing. He also received the Leadership Award for academic excellence. Before joining Cassels Brock, Stephen worked at Advocates for Injured Workers, a non-profit community legal clinic. He also worked as a don in a school in Oxford, England. As an undergraduate student, Stephen was editor-in-chief of a student newspaper and served on his college’s student council and governing council. He received the Innis College Recognition Award for his student leadership. Stephen is an avid film buff. He voice-acted in a short film that screened in New York City. He also authored an academic article on Finnish cinema. |
