Stefanie Baldassarra

Stefanie is an associate practising in our Litigation Group. She was also a summer and articling student at Cassels Brock prior to joining the firm as an associate. Stefanie has significant experience in numerous areas of law including product liability, franchise litigation, contract disputes, copyright and trademark infringement, injunctions and other commercial litigation practice areas.

Her experience includes successfully defending a high-end retail department store in a trial before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, assisting with a hearing before the Copyright Board of Canada, acting for automobile manufacturers and distributors in product liability cases and numerous successful appearances before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

As an articling student, Stefanie participated in the firm’s secondment program at the criminal law offices of Greenspan Partners.  During this time, Stefanie attended and participated in bail hearings, set-date appearances and preliminary inquiries.

While in law school, Stefanie was an ambassador for the University of Ottawa Law School. She also interned with in-house counsel in New York in the areas of internet, intellectual property and employment law.
