ProfileSean WilliamsonSean Williamson is a 2011 - 2012 articling student at Cassels Brock. He joined the firm as a summer student in 2010. Sean earned his J.D. at the University of Windsor. Prior to attending law school, Sean was actively involved in federal politics. In 2006, he was a staff member of Michael Ignatieff’s campaign for Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. In 2007, he joined the office of Paul Zed, then-Member of Parliament for Saint John, New Brunswick. After completing his first year of law school, Sean worked in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition on Parliament Hill, serving as Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff. Sean is interested in foreign affairs and international politics. He completed his undergraduate degree in political science and international relations at the University of Toronto, and earned a Master’s degree in War Studies from King’s College London (England). As well, in his final year of law school he returned to King’s as an exchange student, focusing on international and comparative law. In his spare time, Sean enjoys running, reading and is an avid sports fan. Representative Work |
