Sam Sokoloff is a member of the 2017 articling student class at Cassels Brock. He first joined the firm as a summer student in 2016.
Sam graduated from the J.D. program at Western University with an Area of Concentration in Intellectual Property, Information, and Technology. He was actively involved in the community at Western and was the recipient of the Global and Intercultural Engagement Honour.
During his time in law school, Sam received the first place prize in the Torys LLP Negotiation Competition and represented Western Law in both the American Bar Association’s Regional Negotiation Competition and the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition. Sam was also a Managing Editor for the Western Journal of Legal Studies.
Prior to law school, Sam earned his Bachelor of Management at Western University with an Honours Specialization in Consumer Behaviour. He has held a number of digital marketing positions, including jobs with the BMW Group Canada and MasterCard Canada. Sam obtained his position at MasterCard by winning a national marketing competition.
Sam is also a musician, producer, and songwriter. He enjoys travelling and spent a semester abroad at ESADE Law School in Barcelona studying international and comparative law.
