Robert Jefferson

Robert is a Land Use Planner in the Municipal, Planning and Environmental Group. With his strong understanding of the urban environment, Robert is able to make valuable contributions to the firm. A wide range of projects represent his professional repertoire: research and analysis, zoning and policy review, negotiation, public consultation, plan and policy amendments and Ontario Municipal Board hearings. 

In addition, he prepares numerous planning reports, reviews and studies, and facilitates public meetings and working groups related to urban
revitalization and development.

Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Robert worked as a research analyst for a leading commercial real estate firm where he performed site, market and planning analysis. He holds a graduate degree in planning and environmental studies from York University in Toronto. His graduate research on urban revitalization took him across North America where he pursued fieldwork on neighbourhood planning.

He has been a regular television panellist on urban issues, presented research papers and organized academic and professional conferences.
