Michael Lungu

Michael (Mickey) is an associate in the Business Law Group and the Mining Group. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law.

Michael has experience drafting general corporate and commercial documents and has assisted on a broad range of corporate and financing matters, including mergers and acquisitions, asset and share transactions and private equity investments.  Michael’s practice lends itself to a diverse array of industries, and he has worked with clients in the information technology, consumer products, infrastructure and mining sectors.

Michael was both a summer and articling student at Cassels Brock prior to joining the firm as an associate. While in law school, Michael worked as a caseworker with the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service in the Tenants Rights Project, an initiative developed to assist residential tenants in the Halifax community to better understand their legal rights. He was also actively involved with the Dalhousie Community Outreach Program and the Dalhousie Journal of Legal Studies.
