Melissa Wright

Melissa Wright is an associate in the Tax Group. Her practice involves a wide range of domestic and international income tax matters, commodity tax, trusts, and estate planning.

Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Melissa was both a summer and articling student at the firm. While in law school, Melissa was actively involved in student government, serving as Law Society President and as a member on the Decanal Search Committee. She received a prestigious award in Advanced Taxation for the highest standing in the course and the J.W. Whiteside Award in recognition of outstanding service to the Faculty of Law.

Melissa played varsity volleyball while earning her Honours bachelor in Political Studies at Queen’s University.
