ProfileMelissa WrightMelissa Wright is a 2011 - 2012 articling student at Cassels Brock. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2010. Melissa graduated with a J.D. from the University of Windsor where she served as the 2010 - 2011 Students’ Law Society President. She was awarded the J.W. Whiteside Award in recognition of outstanding service to the Faculty of Law and the Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP Award in Advanced Taxation for the highest standing in the course. During her final year at Windsor, Melissa was a participant in the Corporate/Securities law moot and the only student member on the Decanal Search Committee. Prior to attending law school, Melissa earned a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science from Queen’s University. During her time at Queen’s, she spent a year abroad at the Queen’s International Study Centre in the United Kingdom and competed on the varsity women’s volleyball team.
