Meghan Rourke is a 2017-2018 articling student at Cassels Brock. She first joined the firm as a summer student in 2016.
Meghan graduated from the J.D. program at Osgoode Hall Law School. During her time at Osgoode, she served as the Dean’s Fellow for Professor Jamie Cameron’s first year criminal law class and acted as a Research Assistant. She also ran sessions as a Discussion Facilitator for the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund. In the fall of 2016, Meghan spent a semester in Scotland at Strathclyde University. Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Meghan worked a number of service industry jobs, including being a Starbucks barista and an usher for the Toronto Blue Jays.
Meghan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology with a minor in Legal Studies (with Highest Distinction) from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. During her undergraduate studies, she acted as a Research Assistant to two professors and served as President of the Student Law Association.
Meghan enjoys cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays and playing softball and hockey.
