Marco Ciarlariello is an associate in our Business Law Group who specializes in the areas of intellectual property (including copyright and trademark), entertainment and technology. He is frequently involved in the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements as well as the protection, enforcement and licensing of intellectual property rights. Marco also advises on the completion of corporate transactions involving intellectual property issues and has experience assisting in a variety of litigation matters. Before joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Marco summered and articled with the firm.
Marco is a graduate of the J.D. program at Osgoode Hall Law School where he received the Charles Edward Woodrow Award for academic achievement and was involved in a number of extra-curricular activities. At law school, Marco was the treasurer of the Entertainment & Sports Law Association, volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and was a member of the Osgoode Hall hockey team. In his final year, Marco spent a semester studying abroad at Trinity College in Dublin.
Marco earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Western University where he graduated on the Dean’s Honour Roll and was awarded a number of scholarships for academic achievement. Prior to working at Cassels Brock, Marco interned and summered at a criminal law firm in Toronto.
