Luke Gill_unpublishLuke Gill is a member of the 2012 summer student class at Cassels Brock. He has a strong interest in the mining and energy industries. Luke recently completed his second year of studies at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he earned a B.A. (Honours) in Economics from York University. During his first two years at law school, Luke has volunteered at a legal clinic, been an active representative on student caucus and co-edited a law journal. He also writes and acts in the school’s annual comedy show. His previous experience includes working as a Policy Advisor at the former Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and as a summer law student at the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry. In both of these positions Luke’s work focused primarily on the Crown’s duty to consult Aboriginal communities. Luke enjoys using his free time to watch and cheer for the Montréal Canadiens. |
