Lindsay Clements

Lindsay Clements is a partner in the Securities Group. Her practice focuses on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. She also provides advice to companies in connection with compliance with ongoing securities laws obligations.

Notable transactions in which Lindsay has been involved include:

• Acting on behalf of Equitable Group Inc. in connection with a $50 million prospectus offering
• Acting on behalf of Katanga Mining Limited in connection with its $250 million rights issue
• Acting on behalf of Teranet Income Fund in connection with its $1.7 billion sale to Borealis
• Acting on behalf of Teranet Inc. in connection with the $762 million initial public offering of Teranet Income Fund

Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Lindsay worked at another law firm in Toronto where she gained experience in a variety of transactions including private placements, public equity offerings and share asset purchases.

Lindsay also co-authored a paper on corporate shareholder activism, which was presented at the 2000 Queen's University Business Law Symposium.
