Jonathan Chandler is an associate in the Business Law Group. Jonathan offers experience with a variety of corporate and securities law matters, including private placements, continuous disclosure obligations, regulatory compliance and mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his time at the firm, Jonathan has gained valuable corporate and securities law experience on transactions involving public and private companies. Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Jonathan was both a summer and articling student with the firm.
Jonathan received his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. While at Dalhousie, Jonathan attained Dean’s List distinction and received multiple academic awards, including prizes for highest standing in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Taxation and Tort Law. Prior to law school, Jonathan earned a B.A. in Economics (with distinction) from the University of Victoria, where he competed for the men’s varsity rowing team and received various academic and athletic awards. Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Jonathan worked as a forest firefighter for the province of British Columbia.
