Jason MacIntosh

Jason is an associate in the firm’s Securities Group. His practice focuses on advising public companies and investment dealers in a variety of transactions including initial public offerings, public and private offerings of equity securities, mergers and acquisitions, structured products, and general securities compliance matters.

Jason has worked on a number of significant M&A transactions, including:

• Acting on Goldcorp Inc.’s $1.5 billion acquisition of Gold Eagle Mines Ltd.
• Representing HudBay Minerals in their $500 million acquisition of Skye Resources Inc.

Jason has also worked on a number of significant financings, including:

• Representing the agents, co-led by GMP Securities LP, in Red Back’s $375 million private placement
• Acting for Gold Wheaton Gold Corp. in its $260 million private placement
• Acting for the syndicate of agents, led by Cormark Securities Inc., in Mirabela Nickel’s $183 million offering

While in law school, Jason was co-editor of the Osgoode Hall Yearbook Citation, a member of the Osgoode Orientation Committee, a school ambassador, and co-founder of the Osgoode After Five Society.
