Gaurav Anand is a 2017-2018 articling student in the Toronto office of Cassels Brock. He first joined the firm as a summer student in 2015.
Gaurav received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. While at law school, he participated in the Lerner’s Cup Moot and had the opportunity to advance to the quarter finals. In the fall of 2016, Gaurav spent a semester on exchange at the University of Hong Kong studying international and Chinese corporate law.
In 2013, He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo. While there, he was active in both the on-campus and local communities. Gaurav served as President of the South Asian Student’s Association, and also founded an event planning and promotions company that booked concert artists in the Kitchener, Waterloo and Toronto areas.
He has a passion for history and occasionally offers guest lectures at his former high school. He was also a member of the North American Culture Show’s Executive Committee for three years.
Gaurav managed and continues to assist in the operation of his family restaurant, Parivaar Fine Indian Dining.
