Forrest is a member of the 2018 summer student class at Cassels Brock.
Forrest is a J.D. candidate at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where he is an active member of the student community. He was on the executive of the First Generation Network and also volunteered for the Artist’s Legal Advice Service in Toronto. In addition, he was a research assistant for two law professors in the area of law and economics.
Forrest graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. He majored in history and minored in anthropology. During his time at McGill, Forrest was a student representative on the Student Aid Office advisory committee and published extensively in a number of undergraduate journals. He made the Dean’s Honour Roll and graduated with First Class Honours. Throughout, Forrest also worked on many musical side projects, playing and producing the songs he wrote.
In his spare time, Forrest loves to travel. Before law school he spent a year exploring southern and eastern Africa where he volunteered on a Great White Shark cage diving boat. He also recently backpacked through the Caucasus countries of Eurasia. When he is not studying, he can be found exploring new hiking trails in the BC mountains.
