Florence Lau is a 2017-2018 articling student at Cassels Brock. She first joined the firm as a summer student in 2016.
Florence graduated from the J.D. program at the University of Toronto. At law school, Florence was actively involved in student life as the President of the Asia Law Society and a volunteer caseworker at Flemingdon Community Legal Services, where she assisted clients on immigration matters.
Florence graduated as Gold Medalist from the University of Toronto (St. Michael’s College), where she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and History. Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Florence has spent summers working on matters of policy development at the Ontario Ministry of Attorney-General and in corporate law in the Beijing office of a multinational law firm.
Florence is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. In her spare time, she enjoys Bollywood dance, museum-hopping and travelling.
