ProfileDavid EvelineAs a member of the Real Estate Group, David plays an active role in a range of real estate transactions, focusing on assisting financial institutions in mortgage recovery and resolution. Before joining Cassels Brock as an associate, David gained legal experience while working as both a summer and articling student with the firm. While articling, he gained experience in a wide range of areas and assisted in several of the firm’s largest files. During that time, he was involved in a variety of transactions within the Real Estate, Financial Services, Business and Securities Law Groups and participated in several large hearings before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal. In addition to practising law, David has always been involved in volunteer work. During his time at law school, he volunteered for Community Legal Services, a non-profit, student-run legal aid clinic, for low-income clients in London, Ontario. He is currently involved with Habitat for Humanity, donating his legal expertise to assist buyers in realizing their dream of owning a home.
