ProfileDaniel WaldmanDaniel is an associate in our Litigation Group. He carries on a general litigation practice with a particular emphasis on securities litigation. Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Daniel worked as both an articling student and as litigation counsel for the Ontario Securities Commission in the enforcement branch. During this time, he worked on a number of significant matters involving securities fraud, prospectus disclosure and other regulatory matters. He has appeared before the Commission and has assisted on appellate matters at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Prior to attending law school, Daniel worked as a journalist for different media outlets including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the Associated Press. In law school, Daniel completed Osgoode’s intensive program in criminal law. He spent a semester working in a large criminal defence firm and appeared regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice.
