ProfileCarolyn StrozCarolyn Stroz is a 2011 – 2012 articling student at Cassels Brock. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2010. Carolyn graduated with distinction from the J.D. program at the University of Western Ontario Law School and was awarded the Gowling, Lafleur, Henderson Award for the highest achievement in commercial and company law. During her time at Western Law, Carolyn worked as a research assistant for a commercial and bankruptcy law professor. In this role, Carolyn wrote and edited legal commentary for publication and assisted with the researching and drafting of legal opinions and reports. Carolyn volunteered at the Western Business Law Clinic and was Co-Chair of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Group. Prior to attending law school, Carolyn received her Honours Degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. As a business student, Carolyn focused her studies in entrepreneurism and was awarded the Marie Currie Award of Entrepreneurship. Carolyn enjoys travelling and spent a semester of her final year of law school at the National University of Singapore.
