Brie Lastman
Brie Lastman is a member of the 2010 summer student class at Cassels Brock. Brie attends law school at the University of Western Ontario, where she was the recipient of the Maritime Law Book Prize for the highest standing in legal ethics. Brie also participated in the High School Project, where she presented a series of legal seminars to high school students in London, Ontario, as a volunteer lecturer.
Prior to attending law school, Brie earned a BA (Honours) in media, information and technoculture at the University of Western Ontario, graduating with distinction. Brie has an interest in entertainment law and will be spending a semester in Los Angeles, California, during the fall of 2010, where she will be studying international entertainment law.
Brie has previously worked as a summer intern at Canada’s Walk of Fame, where she conducted research on Canadian cultural accomplishments and assisted in the planning and organizing of the 2007 Canada’s Walk of Fame Gala.
Brie enjoys yoga, cooking and travelling.
