Angela Chu
Angela Chu is an associate in the Securities Group and Mining Group of Cassels Brock’s Toronto office. She has experience acting for a broad range of issuers and underwriters for public and private domestic and cross-border offerings and public merger and acquisition transactions.
She also advises public issuers on general corporate and securities law matters, including stock exchange listings, continuous disclosure obligations, corporate governance and other regulatory compliance issues.

- New Gold Inc. in its $300 million private offering of senior notes
- Sprott Power Corp. in its $22.8 million public offering
- The underwriters in Amaya Gaming Group Inc.’s $25 million special warrant offering
- Yancoal Canada Resources Co., Ltd. in its acquisition of potash exploration permits in the Province of Saskatchewan for US$260 million
- Avalon Rare Metals Inc. in its $44 million public offering
- Volta Resources Inc. in its $40 million special warrant offering
- Crocodile Gold Corp. in its $85 million bought deal offering
- Black Iron Inc. in its initial public offering
- Cargojet Income Fund in its conversion to a corporation
- Goldcorp Inc. in its acquisition of Andean Resources Limited for approximately $3.6 billion
