Aimee O’Donnell is a 2016-2017 articling student in the Vancouver office of Cassels Brock. She first joined the firm as a summer student in 2015.
Aimee earned her law degree with a concentration in Business Law from the University of British Columbia. Aimee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. During her studies, Aimee earned multiple academic awards including the Norman MacKenzie Scholarship, Law Foundation Award, and Ian, Jonathan and Peter Gritten Memorial Bursary.
Throughout law school, Aimee volunteered as a caseworker with Community Legal Aid and the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, providing legal information to society’s most marginalized citizens. Prior to summering with Cassels Brock in 2015, her work experience included seven years in accounting and volunteering as a restorative justice coordinator, facilitating workshops with the Alternatives to Violence Project.
Enjoying all outdoor activities, Aimee spends her time outside the office cycling, snowboarding, surfing, and dirt biking. She also loves to travel, attend concerts, experience new restaurants, or some combination of the three.
