Noble Chummar: UFC is Optimistic Mixed Martial Arts Will be Sanctioned in Ontario

Noble Chummar notes that while the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recognizes that legalizing mixed martial arts is not a priority for Ontario, the UFC is continuing its efforts to ensure that mixed martial arts is sanctioned. In recent interviews with media sources, he stated that the UFC is happy with the progress made with stakeholders so far and remains optimistic that a resolution will be reached. The UFC is continuing to lobby the government to regulate the sport to ensure safety at mixed martial arts events. The UFC is also informing the public about the economic impact that the sport can bring to the province.
