In The NewsCassels Brock Students Give a Summer to Eva's InitiativesPublished: 06/01/2009 Cassels Brock’s summer law students have been volunteering with Eva's Initiatives, an organization with three shelters in the GTA that works with homeless and at-risk youth ages 16 to 24 to get them off the streets. To date, our summer students have built a vegetable garden at Eva's Phoenix with at-risk and homeless youth, and volunteered at the 11th annual Home for Life Auction which raised $127,000. They also plan on organizing fundraising initiatives at the firm through the summer months, and doing more volunteer work on-site at Eva's.
