In The NewsCassels Brock Raises Almost $14,000 at 2011 JDRF Ride for Diabetes ResearchPublished: 11/14/2011 Cassels Brock participated in the 2011 JDRF Ride for Diabetes Research, raising almost $14,000 as a participant in the Law Challenge fundraising intiative. Participation in this year's event grew by 33%, from 152 riders in 2010 to 203 in 2011. A total of $79,185 was raised in the legal community, with a grand total of $2.8M raised overall. Funds raised will go towards much needed research into treatments and eventually a cure for type 1 diabetes. A special thank you to the Cassels Brock team members, and to Jason Sernoskie, who co-chaired this years event.
