In The NewsAlison Manzer Wins Inaugural Zenith AwardPublished: 10/15/2009 Alison Manzer has been selected as one of only 22 winners across Canada recognized at the first annual LEXPERT Zenith Awards ceremony on October 15, 2009. Alison, a Partner in the Financial Services Group, has built a leading practice in banking and corporate/commercial finance law, been ranked in every major legal directory, chaired numerous OBA and CBA committees, taught law, banking and financial services courses at Osgoode Hall, authored four texts and hundreds of articles, acted as a corporate director and served on the Cassels Brock Business Development and Finance Committees. She is currently a member of the Cassels Brock Executive and Professional Development Committees. The Zenith Awards were established this year to honour a select group of senior women lawyers who have made outstanding contributions to the practice and business of law. The event will also launch a new mentoring program for young women lawyers through which the Zenith recipients will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience. |
