Plenary Session on International Trade: World Energy Congress, Montreal

On September 16, 2010, International Trade lawyer Larry Herman will be moderating a plenary session called "Champion Sets Issues" at the World Energy Congress to be held in Montreal. The plenary session will introduce the theme of the day's events which will focus on "Accountability - Policies, Regulations and Financing." The session will also feature keynote speeches from panelists.

The session will be chaired by Pierre Gadonneix, President, World Energy Council, Honorary Chairman, Électricité de France (EDF). The Champion of the day will be Pascal Lamy, Director General, World Trade Organization.

The panelists will be:

• John Krenicki Jr., Vice-Chairman, GE, President and Chief Executive Officer, GE Energy Infrastructure, United States
• Pedro Sanchez Gamarra, Minister, Ministry of Energy and Mines Peru
• Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, Government of Canada, Canada
