Ken Snider is speaking about issues for non-resident acquirers at the inaugural "Tax Planning for the Sale of a Business" conference on November 10, 2010.

Synopsis:

There have been several recent developments in Canadian and US cross-border tax rules as well as new proposals under review which will affect tax planning. This session will examine cross-border tax structuring, focusing on best practices in planning and structuring the sale of a business to a non-resident acquirer, takng into consideration the latest development of inbound investment taxation policies, tax legislation and administrative practices.
