On September 26, 2010, Heather Zordel spoke on the topic of "Arguments for a National Securities Regulator" at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's Annual General Meeting 2010.

Heather is a partner in the Securities Group. Her practice focuses on corporate finance and securities regulatory compliance. In 2008, Heather was appointed by the Federal Minister of Finance to the Expert Panel on Securities Regulation tasked with providing advice on the best way forward to improve securities regulation in Canada.
