Ellen Bessner participated in a panel discussion entitled, "Applying Ethical Judgment to Serve your Clients" which was part of the Financial Planning Standards Council Professional Development Day held on October 5, 2010.

This session provided a lively discussion and debate and the opportunity for attendees to weigh in on a number of real-life client scenarios where financial planning professionals have faced some common but clearly challenging ethical dilemmas.


Ellen is a litigation partner who has developed a special niche representing investment dealers, mutual fund dealers, Portfolio Managers, compliance officers, branch managers/supervisors, and advisors in Ontario courts of all levels and at various regulatory tribunals, including IIROC, MFDA, OSC and FSCO.
