Vettese On January 7, 2011, Nord Gold N.V., a subsidiary of OAO Severstal, completed its acquisition of 100% of Crew Gold Corporation (CAD$490 million). Severstal began the acquisition of Crew Gold at the beginning of 2010, became a controlling shareholder in June 2010 and acquired the remaining shares in a plan of arrangement that closed on January 7, 2011.
