Property Tax Assessment Complaint Deadline Extended to June 30, 2006

As a result of the provincial Ombudsman's report criticizing the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC), the Ontario Government quickly passed legislation on March 30, 2006 to extend the deadline for filing an annual assessment complaint for the 2006 taxation year from March 31, 2006 to June 30, 2006.
