On March 15, 2012, Siemens Canada Ltd. acquired all of the outstanding shares of RuggedCom Inc. for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $427 million. RuggedCom designs and manufactures rugged communications equipment for harsh environments.

Cassels Brock represented RuggedCom’s founder, President and Chief Executive Officer, Marzio Pozzuoli, with a team that included Paul Stein (Securities) and Peter Dunne (Securities).
