Cassels Brock Acts for the Agents as Sarama Resources Ltd. Completes Its $16M Initial Public Offering

On November 2, 2011, Sarama Resources Ltd. ("Sarama") announced the completion of its initial public offering of 18,538,711 Units (which includes the partial exercise of the over-allotment option of 1,872,045 Units) at $0.90 per Unit, raising gross proceeds of $16,684,840. Each Unit consists of one Common Share of Sarama and one-half of one Common Share purchase warrant of Sarama.

The Offering was sold pursuant to a final long form prospectus of Sarama by a syndicate of agents. The syndicate of agents, co-led by Cormark Securities Inc. and GMP Securities L.P. and including BMO Capital Markets and Raymond James Ltd., was represented by Cassels Brock with a team that included Chad Accursi (Securities and Mining), Nancy Choi (Securities and Mining), Adria Leung (Securities and Mining), Chad Aboud (Securities) and Andrew Reback (Corporate Tax).
