Cassels Brock Acts For The Underwriters In Pacific & Western Credit Corp.’s $16.8 Million Offering

On May 26, 2011, Pacific & Western Credit Corp. (“PWC”) closed a short form prospectus offering with a syndicate of underwriters led by Canaccord Genuity Corp., as lead underwriter and sole bookrunner, and including Scotia Capital Inc., Industrial Alliance Securities Inc. and PI Financial Corp. (collectively, the “Underwriters”). PWC issued a total of 7,476,000 units, each unit consisting of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant, at a price of $2.25 per Unit. The gross proceeds of offering were $16,821,000. Each common share purchase warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of PWC at a price of $2.80 for a period of 18 months following May 26, 2011. The warrants are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
