Redmond Otera Capital, the mortgage investment arm of the Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (the “Caisse”) arranged as agent for CDPQ Mortgage Investment Corporation, a subsidiary of the Caisse, first mortgage term financing for the retail, office and parking components of the Maple Leaf Square development adjacent to the Air Canada Centre and for the first debenture term financing for the Le Germain Hotel that forms part of the Maple Leaf Square development. The Loan on the retail, office and parking components was in the amount of $125,000,000 and the Loan on the Le Germain Hotel was in the amount of $37,000,000.
